Following our previous newsletter last week we're happy to let you know we've been able to schedule some extra online events, to compensate for all the physical events that had to be cancelled. Get to know the Global Responsibility and Leadership (GRL) bachelor programme and the University College Fryslân (UCF) community better by joining one of these extra online events:
Extra edition of the GRL Web class 13 April - 10 May
With the final exams being cancelled in a lot of countries, you might have some extra time to dive into the content of the GRL programme already. That's why we'll host an extra round of the GRL web class from 13 April till 10 May. During the four weeks of the web class, you will be introduced to a variety of academic disciplines and lecturers, that are part of the first year of the GRL programme. You can sign up for this extra edition of the web class until 7 April 10 am (CET).

Online information sessions including a 10 minute inspirational lecture on 15, 16 & 17 April
Unfortunately the open day of the University of Groningen on Saturday 18 April cannot take place. Nevertheless, you can join one of our online information session instead. We'll host three sessions on Wednesday 15 April from 2 till 3 pm (CET), Thursday 16 April from 4 till 5 pm (CET), and Friday 17 April 11 am till 12 noon (CET).

Each sessions consists of an introduction to the GRL programme, a discussion of practical matters such as the application- and selection procedure and a 10 minute inspirational lecture. You also will have the opportunity to ask all your questions to current UCF students.

Want to experience what it's like to study Global Responsibility & Leadership? Be an online GRL student on Friday 24 April! Enjoy a lecture by UCF professor dr. Anne Beaulieu, get to meet our current students and explore student life in Leeuwarden via Google hangouts.
Because the application deadline has been moved back with one month to 1 June 2020 we've also scheduled another, additional online Student for a Day event on Friday 15 May. Join a real life lecture by dr. Sepideh Yousefzadeh, talk to the prospective student officer, study advisor and current students of UCF during a Q&A via Google hangouts!

22 June: UCF Meet & Greet
Everybody who applies before the 1 June deadline will be invited for an UCF Meet & Greet on Monday 22 June. During this event all applicants will be able to meet with their possible future classmates, current 1st and 2nd year UCF students and of course staff members. Prof. Dr. Andrej Zwitter, dean of University College Fryslân, will give an inspirational lecture during this afternoon.
